MENOMONEE FALLS, Wis., (May 5, 2014) — Bradley Corporation announced that all of its standard commercial plumbing products have received third-party certification as being completely lead-free. While it is not a requirement of the current lead-free law for all products to be lead-free, this noncompulsory third-party certification listing to NSF 372 demonstrates Bradley’s industry leadership in lead-free compliance.

The NSF 372 certification includes Bradley’s applicable wetted lead-free components, sub-assemblies and top-level ATO models. To signify that its standard products have been third-party-certified as lead-free, Bradley has employed a new lead-free code – "C" – seen on labeling of all applicable parts. Bradley’s Technical Data and Product Labels for applicable parts that have been certified will now use the NSF 372 mark.  

Navigator TMVs: First to comply with lead-free legislation

Bradley has been an industry leader in complying with lead-free legislation, beginning with its line of Navigator® Lead-Free Valves — the first lead-free thermostatic mixing valve available in the industry. Since 2009, Bradley’s lead-free valves have been fully compliant with lead-free legislation that went into effect in 2010. The Navigator line of TMVs are also certified with the International Association of Plumbing and Mechanical Officials (IAPMO).
