Bradley Earns Product Innovation Award For New "All In One" Advocate Lavatory System

Dec 05, 2012

Bradley Corp., the industry leader in designing innovative commercial restroom solutions, has won a 2012 Product Innovation Award (PIA) presented by Architectural Products magazine for the unique "all in one" touchless design of its new Advocate AV-Series Lavatory System.

The very first lavatory unit designed to provide a sink, soap, faucet at dual-sided hand dryer all in one sleek and high-tech unit, the Advocate scored high in the Restroom Products & Fixtures Category with the panel of nearly 40 judges representing the architectural community who selected the most outstanding and innovative product solutions used in commercial buildings and institutions.

"Bradley's all-in-one Advocate hand washing station is a great, innovative approach to smart, streamlined design and efficiency," says a PIA judging representative.

High-Tech Hand Washing Earns High Marks

Having soap, water and hand dryer all within immediate reach, the Advocate Lavatory System raises the bar for convenience, comfort and safety in commercial washrooms. Since all hand washing elements are close by, the user needn't move from the station in search of soap, towels or a hand dryer. In addition to user convenience and functionality, this uniquely integrated design ensures that water goes down the drain - not on the floor or down the walls.

To wash hands with the Advocate Lavatory System, users intuitively move their hands from left to right, beginning with a touchless soap dispenser, a touchless faucet, and finishing with a high-efficiency dual-sided hand dryer. In effect, Bradley's exclusive "all-in-one" design simplifies hand washing, while minimizing washroom cleaning and maintenance, and maximizing a safer restroom environment.

The second annual PIA program recognizes product ingenuity in the built environment, including product attributes, qualities, design, functionality and/or performance that go beyond the standard. Product evaluation is performed by a panel of judges who are experts in the field of architecture and specifying products.

"It is a great honor to receive the Product Innovation Award for the Advocate Lavatory System since we regard this design as a true paradigm shift in the realm of hand washing technology," said Jon Dommisse, director of global marketing and strategic development for Bradley. "For over 90 years, Bradley has taken pride in the fact that our washroom products meet the highest design standards while raising the bar for innovation, customer convenience and functionality."
