Bradley's Diplomat Washroom Accessories Series Receives 2012 Award For Design Excellence
Aug 13, 2012Bradley has won a platinum-level Award for Design Excellence (ADEX) for its sleek and versatile Diplomat Accessories Series.
The 17th annual ADEX Awards - presented by Design Journal magazine - is the largest and most prestigious awards competition to recognize superior product design of furniture, fixtures and finishes marketed to the design trade. Products are judged by a distinguished jury of professionals representing a cross section of the architectural design community.
Bradley's winning entry, the new Diplomat Washroom Accessories Series (www.bradleycorp.com/diplomat/), offers an innovative curved stainless steel design that integrates - and elevates - the look of commercial washrooms. While 100% of the energy required for the production of Diplomat Accessories has been offset with renewable energy through the WE Energies Energy for Tomorrow program, the stainless steel used is made from at least 60% recycled content. Diplomat's fifty-plus product models offer architects unmatched sustainable design flexibility for an elegant, yet highly durable, restroom solution.
"The 2011-12 ADEX Awards attracted upwards of 500 companies submitting more than 1,500 innovative new products," said John Platter, executive director of ADEX. "The ADEX Award has recognized many outstanding product designs over the years, and Bradley Corporation's line of Diplomat Accessories has earned its place among that elite group."
