Bradley won top honors for its leadership role in developing standards and training guidelines for the solid surface industry.
"Since 1995, Bradley has felt a great responsibility to drive innovation in the cast polymer industry and promote the need for better standardization globally," said Jon Dommisse, director of marketing and product development at Bradley Corp. "It's an exciting time to be in the industry and ICPA members are making significant technical breakthroughs - we are honored to receive this prestigious award."
The ICPA is recognizing Bradley for its efforts over the last several years, including spearheading the Solid Surface Quality Manual which is now used by members to ensure quality control. Bradley is also working to develop a formal training program for solid surface technicians to help commercial and residential product manufacturers create quality products. Tom Pelt, director of technical projects, is chairing the committee for the Certified Composite Technician certification program.
In addition, Bradley has lead several standardization efforts in the U.S. and abroad. Bradley was instrumental in developing the ANSI/ICPA SS-2001 solid surface standard which establishes minimum acceptable performance standards for solid surface materials. Klaus Fromme, director of manufacturing services, is currently the project leader and is representing the U.S. as part of a global committee developing the solid surface standard for the International Standard Organization.
Bradley's innovative solid surface products include the Express® Lavatory System with ndite™ light-powered technology, the Frequency™ Lavatory System, a patented multi-height handwashing fixture, and a number of other products including washfountains, lavatory decks, classroom sinks and patient care units. Bradley recently added six new options to the wide array of colors for its Terreon™ solid surface material. The new shades are inspired by nature and give solid surface fixtures a fresh look.
