Swing-Activated Halo™ Eye/Face Wash Solutions Name A 2013 New Product of The Year Winner By OH&S Magazine
Oct 09, 2013Bradley Corporation’s Swing-Activated Halo™ Eye/Face Wash Solutions earned a winning spot in the 2013 New Product of the Year Contest held by Occupational Health & Safety magazine.
All of Bradley’s Swing-Activated Eye and Eye/Face Wash Solutions now include the innovative HALO eye and eye/face wash sprayhead. It offers a superior wash pattern for the most effective contaminant relief available. The HALO eye/face sprayhead covers 85 percent of the user’s face, which provides 20 percent better protection than other eye/face washes.
The technology also features a redesigned valve, which controls water between two rotating ceramic discs, which fit closely together to create a water-tight seal. The precise 20° swing activation and deactivation helps reduce splashing before and after use. The hard ceramic valve is also corrosion-resistant, providing a superior wear-resistant surface for recurring valve activations. Static O-rings minimize wear and tear on moving parts, leading to longer-lasting performance.
Bradley’s winning Swing-Activated Eye/Face Wash Solutions were among 71 product entries and 24 winning products in OH&S’s New Product of the Year Contest. The winners will be announced at this year’s National Safety Council Congress & Expo in Chicago, and are featured on Occupational Health & Safety's website, www.ohsonline.com/pages/product-awards.aspx.
"The wide spectrum of innovative products these leading manufacturers have introduced during the past year shows us the safety and health marketplace is dynamic and growing. And the competition was especially fierce this year in categories such as hand protection, on-site training, fall protection, and vision protection," Editor Jerry Laws said.
