PIA Award for Undermount Bowls
Dec 05, 2014Bradley Corp., the industry leader in designing exceptional hand washing solutions, has won a 2014 Product Innovation Award (PIA) presented by Architectural Products magazine for its new and highly durable HS-Series Terreon™ Solid Surface Undermount Basins. The HS-Series is the only collection of ADA-compliant, multipurpose basins featuring a flat bottom design with clean, contemporary lines.
The Terreon Undermount Basins scored high in PIA’s Restroom Products/Plumbing Category with the panel of 50 independent industry professionals representing the architectural community who selected the most outstanding and innovative product solutions used in commercial buildings and institutions.
HS-Series Undermount Basins provide durability and flexibility
HS-Series Undermount Basins can be specified either as a seamless, prefabricated Bradley Omnideck™ Lavatory System packaged ready to install, or basin only with Terreon solid surface countertops ready for field fabrication. With 32 Terreon colors and three contemporary basin shapes available - rectangular, square or oval - the design possibilities are endless.
The flat bottom design not only provides a high aesthetic, but also maximizes capacity making the basins ideal for general hand washing or multipurpose use.
Compliant with ADA guidelines, the HS-Series Undermount Basins are ideal for healthcare applications such as exam rooms, patient rooms and nursing stations, as well as a number of commercial hand washing applications, including laboratories, high-rise offices, airports and more.
Resilient Terreon solid surface material
Constructed of durable, non-porous Terreon solid surface material, HS-Series Undermount Basins are repairable to its original finish. Terreon resists stains, burns, chemicals and impact, which makes it an appealing product for high-volume and every day applications. Surface marks and scratches are repaired easily with everyday cleaners or fine-grit abrasives, making the material very easy to clean and maintain. Since there are no seams or adhesives, Terreon does not support microbial growth, so germs and bacteria are kept at bay. It has earned the IAPMO Uniform Plumbing Code (UPC) and the Home Innovation Lab Certification, and is GREENGUARD-Certified as a low-emitting material.
“Bradley is thrilled to have won a Product Innovation Award for our lavatory products for the past three years in a row,” said Jon Dommisse, director of global marketing and strategic development for Bradley. “This past year the HS-Series Undermount Basins have proved to be very popular within many markets based on their high durability, flexibility and aesthetics.”
